Gail got a few sandfly bites and was itching half the night so didn’t come fishing today either.  Stayed behind and had a good sleep in.  Trev, Phil & I went fishing.  We caught 59 whiting today and 5 or 6 toad fish – pesky things.  Yesterday we had puffer fish biting off our hooks.  Phil got cut off and Trev caught the same puffer fish and got Phil’s hook back – very  funny.  We caught a family of Tripod Fish or Leather Jacket - somehow Trev managed to lasso it's spiky thing on top of the fish.  Three spikes - hence tripod fish.

We have a few packs of fish in the freezer ready for Nick& Em’s to take home next weekend.  I put a picture below of how they scale the whiting up here.  You pop them in a double net bag and drag them behind your boat for a while and it scales them.  How good is that.  Then all you have to do is fillet them and cut out a little row of bones and you have your fish fingers.  Pop them in a bag with rice flour and a bit of lemon pepper and fry them up. DELICIOUS

Having a lazy afternoon.  Went and bought some bread from the truck – it comes around between 2 & 2:30pm in the afternoon.  Had a game of Eucha with Aunty Pauline – Cousins Debbie, Karl & Coby.  Had a chat to Uncle John.

When we came back I washed my hair and it feels sooooooooo good.  The little things we take for granted when water is laid on.  Watched Persons of Interest and another episode of Firefly.

We plan to move tomorrow.  There is a big southerly coming through early Thursday morning and we will move to where we will be a little better protected from that.  It’s suppose to get up around the 25 knots which is 45 to 50 km/h.

Having mince stew for dinner.  I’m so tempted to put a picture up – like everyone does on facebook of what they are eating but I will spare you all.  LOL

We are all having a relaxed time.
